Scientific Calculator
Full-featured scientific calculator with trigonometry, logarithms, exponentials, factorials, memory functions, and constant library.
What is Scientific Calculator?
This online scientific calculator provides all functions of a physical scientific calculator: trigonometric and inverse trig functions, logarithms (common and natural), exponents, roots, factorial, permutations, combinations, and mathematical constants (π, e, φ).
How to Use This Calculator
- Enter your Value / Angle, Angle Unit in the input fields provided
- Results are computed instantly as you enter or modify values — no need to click a button
- Review the computed output showing your scientific results with a detailed breakdown
- Cross-check the output with your manual working to reinforce the underlying concept
How Scientific Calculator is Calculated
This calculator uses the formula: sin, cos, tan, √x, x², ln(x), log₁₀(x), eˣ. Where Angle can be in degrees or radians ; 180° = π radians. Trigonometric and logarithmic functions. Convert degrees to radians: multiply by π/180. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no data is transmitted to any server.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I switch between degrees and radians?
The calculator defaults to degrees (most common for everyday use). Switch to radians for calculus problems where angles are naturally expressed in radians. π radians = 180°. sin(90°) = sin(π/2 rad) = 1.
What is the order of operations?
PEMDAS/BODMAS: Parentheses/Brackets first, then Exponents/Orders, then Multiplication/Division (left to right), then Addition/Subtraction (left to right). 2 + 3 × 4 = 14, not 20.
