This calculator uses the formula: Needed = (Target% × Total Max / 100) − Marks Scored So Far. Where Current % = Scored/Max × 100 ; Feasible if Needed ≤ Final Max Marks. Checks if your target percentage is mathematically achievable with remaining exam marks. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no data is transmitted to any server.

How do I calculate minimum marks needed?
Required = (Target Total − Marks Already Earned) / Remaining Weightage. If you need 75% overall (75/100), have 40/60 from internals, and the final is worth 40: need (75−40) = 35 out of 40 (87.5% on the final).
What if the required score is more than 100%?
If the calculator shows you need more than 100% on the remaining assessments, your target grade is mathematically impossible with current scores. You will need to adjust your target or explore extra credit options if available.
