Siebel PDI Automator Pro v2.2

1. Data Collection

This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing history, or analytics with any external server. All data is stored locally on your device.

2. Data Stored Locally

The extension uses chrome.storage.local to persist:

Queue data — VIN numbers, battery numbers, technician names, and status values you provide via CSV upload or manual entry.
Processing results — Success/failure status and duration for each processed record.
Session history — Up to 5 recent completed sessions for retry and reporting.
Activity logs — Timestamped log messages (capped at 200 entries) for troubleshooting.
User preferences — Theme, notification, and sound settings.

This data never leaves your device. You can clear all stored data at any time using the Reset button within the extension.

3. Host Permissions

The extension requests access to https://connect.heromotocorp.biz/* solely to:

Inject the automation script into the Oracle Siebel CRM interface on Hero Connect.
Perform network connectivity health checks (HEAD request to favicon) to detect offline states and auto-pause/resume.

No data from this domain is collected, exfiltrated, or sent to any third-party service.

4. Permissions Justification

activeTab — Access the currently active Hero Connect tab to inject and control the automation engine.
scripting — Programmatically inject the content script when the extension detects it is not active on the Siebel page.
storage — Persist queue, results, sessions, logs, and user preferences locally.
sidePanel — Allow the extension UI to open as a Chrome Side Panel for persistent monitoring during automation.
alarms — Periodic watchdog alarm (1-minute interval) to detect stuck records and recover automatically.
notifications — Display a desktop notification when a batch completes.

5. Remote Code

This extension does not load or execute any remotely-hosted code. All JavaScript is bundled within the extension package.

6. Third-Party Services

The extension loads the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google Fonts for UI rendering. No user data is sent to Google Fonts — the browser sends a standard HTTP request to fetch font files.

7. Children's Privacy

This extension is a professional enterprise tool not intended for children under 13. It does not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be reflected in the extension update and this document.
